Established in 2006 by Deb Young + Exercise Physiologist, Russell Young, Younga Yoga Studio was the first full time yoga studio to open in Wollongong and the first studio in the Illawarra to offer the flowing style of vinyasa yoga - a practice of strength, flexibility, movement + breath.
If you are looking for an inner city oasis - a place that invites you to leave your worries and concerns at the door - a place where you can come to strengthen your body, release stress & raise your consciousness then this is your studio.
We offer a range of 60/75/90mins classes to suit your schedule, 7 days a week.
We aim to help busy people like you find better life balance through the physical and emotional benefits of yoga. We welcome newcomers & experienced yogis & teach a flowing style of yoga that incorporates the principles of alignment, posture, breathing & meditation in a way that is relevant to modern living.

BEGINNERS YOGA 6 WEEK COURSE
Want to learn Yoga? Our 6 week beginners course is ideal for those who have never done yoga before, may be recovering from an injury, or would really like to get a thorough understanding of alignment basics before diving into a mixed level class.

Our weekly prenatal classes are suitable for women in all stages of pregnancy with an emphasis on breathing practices to address stress and tension, breathing techniques to assist you during labour, pelvic floor work and pain management techniques.

In this workshop with Exercise Physiologist, Russell Young, you will learn 5 simple tools you can incorporate into daily life to manage your fight or flight response even when life feels busy.
We will practice the art & science of yoga postures, breathwork, pressure points & fasting techniques in relation to the vagus nerve.

The 5 min neck and shoulders release is so handy! I'm doing it nearly everyday as a little break whilst i'm at my desk, on the train and when a passenger in the car.
I'm really enjoying the unravel from travel lessons. I did the hip and hamstrings practice after a hard 90min hour hike up a mountain - it was perfect. My hips feel so much looser now.
