Yoga Nidra Workshop with Lana Clementson - Inner Stillness
Join Lana for a blissful Sunday evening of Pranayama, self study, gentle stretching and guided meditation.
Yoga Nidra is an immensely powerful meditation technique and is one of the easiest yoga practices to develop and maintain.
This gentle practice is accessible to beginners and experienced yogis alike and focuses on multiple levels of well being.
In this workshop we will explore the activities of the mind from a Yogic perspective, observe our own individual relationships with thoughts, and learn techniques to master control of the thinking mind.
In this 90 minute workshop you will:
✔︎ Practice Pranayama techniques to quieten the mind and balance the energetic system.
✔︎ Discuss the Yogic perspective on human psychology, as cited in Patanjali's Yoga Sutras.
✔︎ Be guided through a Svadhyaya (self study) meditation to identify your own mental tendencies.
✔︎ Move through a series of gentle, passive stretches to release physical tension and prepare the body a comfortable meditation
✔︎ Rest comfortably as you are guided through a systematic meditation, resulting in a sense of peace, wholeness and freedom
